The International Music Festival Czech Krumlov celebrated its 25th anniversary this year.
The jubilee year was a reminder of some of the exceptional artists who appeared at the festival over the years.
For example, Arturo Sandoval, Daniel Raiskin, Roger Isaacs, Bohuslav Matoušek and others accepted the invitation. Many other world famous artists were present, with the Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez headlining the 25th year.
In addition to classical music concerts, evenings with other genres are traditionally held: the concert jazz legend trumpeter Artura Sandovala with CBC Big Band, evening film melodies by Ennio Morricone and Luboše Fišera, the Carlos Pinan project called Flamenco Symphony, evening musical melodies by Bravo Broadway! with Broadway theatres stars, the concert singer Szidi Tobias and others. The festival also paid homage to W. A. Mozart, who was born 260 years ago next year. The entire festival program was concluded by the spectacular work of Carla Orffa – Carmina Burana performed by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and two choirs.
