Mobile recording
As many large rental companies in the world, RENTAL PRO offers possibility of live recording of the concert as well. Because live CDs and DVDs are very popular on our market, we have invested into modern digital recording technologies. Our goal is to provide to our customers a possibility of quality digital multi-track sound record that we can edit, fine-tune and mix for stereo of 5.1 formats that is necessary for DVD production.
Thanks to our technologies, possibilities are almost limitless. Now, we are able to provide recording of 64 tracks. The advantage is that thanks to the system used, analogue sources of signal (microphones, line outs of keyboards and instrument apparatus) are immediately on the stage converted into digital 24bit signal with sampling frequency of 48 kHz. In this quality, the signal is – without necessity of conversion into analogue signal – digitally recorded; distance of sound direction is 150 meters (or even up to 3km if optical cable is used) from the stage!
InnovaSON digital technology and NetCira distribution technology (from Japanese company Fostex) that transmits digital signal for long distances without latency and converts it (if necessary) into digital format of recording system (ADAT Lightpipe) is the heart of the whole recording system (digital mixing panel with EtherSound interface). For recording, we use proven TASCAM MX-2424 hard-disc recorders. We are able to record 72 tracks using three devices. We also offer recording of 64 tracks using Steinberg Cubase PC software with LX6464 EtherSound card from Digigram. It is possible to use both systems together and secure 100% back up. Time code synchronization of both recording systems or its generation is a commonplace. Thanks to format used by our systems it is possible to make further postproduction using almost any common postproduction equipment including “Industry Standard” ProTools from Digidesign.
Whole recording team is made of sound professionals and technicians who work in the field of studio, TV and live recording for many years and have many experiences with recording and further postproduction. We offer very large scale of services. From recording of concerts (e.g. DVD of Hana Hegerová, Jarek Nohavica – Doma, Aneta Langerová – Live, L. Kerndl in State Opera Prague) to recording of festivals (Zámostí 2005, HradHouse 2005) and recording classic music (DVD of concert of classical music in Prague Municipal House). Among our customers are e.g. Rádio City (Praha), TV Prima, Petarda Production, Bon Art Production or King Records (Japan).
